    If I check-in online, do I need to go by the hotel when we arrive or can we go straight to a park?

    Hello Ami-Beth,

    Thanks so much for stopping by.  One of the benefits of completing your check-in online in advance of your arrival is that you can, in fact, head straight to the theme park of your choice, or to Disney Springs or another venue that suits your fancy!  If you have set up text alerts and have your Magic Bands on and set up, you are ready to start your vacation as soon as you arrive.  Once your resort room is ready, you will receive a text message stating so along with your resort room number.  You can then head there at your convenience, and your Magic Band will allow you entry to your "home" while on vacation.
