Can I still check-in in-person now that online check-in is advised/preferred? Will there be significantly fewer cast members available for in-person check-in? Am I going to offend or annoy cast members if I do this in-person?

    Hi Joleena! Welcome to planDisney!

You must be SO excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! Hitting the single digits in our vacation countdown is considered a major milestone with my family and you are already there. I'm sure you are busy planning all of the last-minute details, but it will pay off soon when you are enjoying your vacation.

While Online Check-In is recommended and super convenient, there are still Cast Members available at the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to assist you with checking in for your stay. On my last few visits, I did notice that there were fewer Cast Members at the Front Desk than in the past, however, I never had to wait too long for assistance when I needed help or had a question. Sometimes the Front Desk does get busy, though! Just be prepared to wait if you arrive at a busy time.

On another positive note, the Cast Members always greet me with a smile and are happy to offer whatever help they can. You can be sure that when you approach the Front Desk to check-in, even if they are busy, they will not be offended! The best thing you can do is offer them lots of kindness and patience ... I know they will appreciate it!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Joleena! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
