Hi there, Gaye!
How wonderful! Visiting both theme parks at the Disneyland Resort is a great way to double the magic of a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth.
There are a couple of ways to set things up to allow you to visit both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park during your visit. One way is to purchase multi-day tickets and book
theme park reservations to different parks on the days you plan to visit. The other way to see both theme parks is to include the
Park Hopper option when choosing your ticket type during a
theme park ticket purchase. When booking a park reservation with a Park Hopper ticket, you will choose only one park to start your visit. If you arrive at the Disneyland Resort at the park opening, which I highly recommend, you may visit the park you selected for your park reservation. After 11:00 AM, you may then choose to hop over to the other park. From then on, you may hop back and forth between the two parks as much as you would like, subject to park capacity.
I’m sure you will have a most magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Gaye. Feel free to visit us at planDisney again if there is anything else we can help with as you plan your visit.
See ya real soon!
