Hi, When I checked the theme park tickets options, I found that buying a 10-day Basic + Park Hopper + Water Park + no expiration cost = $1,726 for two adults and one kid; whereas the annual premium cots $1,825 for the same number of persons! is this crazy?

Your calculations are probably accurate as annual passes become more cost effective when spending at least 10 days in the theme parks.

Let's calculate this together so we can confirm your sanity! We'll just add in tax as your above calculations do not include that particular cost.

2 adults, 1 child for 10 day ticket with park hopper plus water parks plus no expiration is $1726 plus tax for a total of $1838.20.

Premium Annual Passes for 2 adults, 1 child are $1825 plus tax for a total of $1943.64. These prices are accurate as of May 7, 2011 and subject to change.

So, the verdict is in. You're perfectly sane and I can confirm that annual passes are definitely a good purchase when spending at least 10 days in the theme parks.

    Enjoy your vacation!
