Rajiv from Trinidad and Tobago Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I checked theme park reservations before I purchased tickets and they were available. I then purchased the tickets and they are now saying unable to make theme park reservations.

Hello, hello there, Rajiv! Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow Disney-loving Guests plan Disney vacations that are practically perfect in every way.

I am sorry to hear that you've been having trouble making your Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park reservations, but don't worry! There are a few things that we could try to get you on your way to the magic. Before we begin, if you've been trying to book your reservations through the My Disney Experience mobile app, I would suggest switching to a computer and trying again.

It sounds obvious, but the first thing that you'll need to do is make sure that your Theme Park tickets have actually been linked to your Disney account. There have been some cases when I have purchased tickets in the past, and they weren't automatically linked for me. In order to check if your tickets have been linked, open your My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of your screen, and then proceed to click on Tickets and Passes. If you see your tickets, follow the steps below. If you don't see your tickets, you'll be able to link them to your account right here.

Considering that your tickets are there and you're still having issues with your Theme Park reservations, I encourage you to clear the cache on your laptop or desktop computer. This could sound too simple to be true, but I promise you that it has fixed many issues for me in the past! If that still doesn't work, try logging into your Disney account through a different browser. Disney actually has a handy list of recommended browsers to ensure optimal functionality of the website, so make sure that you're using one of them to access your account.

Rajiv, if you made it this far without any luck, I would urge you to speak to a Cast Member at +1 (407) 939-4357. Keep in mind that international call fees will apply if you do decide to take this route. If you don't want to call but you'd still like to speak to a Cast Member, you could also head over to your My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the provided chat box. Both of these options might require you to wait a little bit longer than expected, so bear this in mind before calling or chatting.

I hope that my answer has helped you out, my friend! Please don't hesitate to come back and ask us any other questions you might have.

    Have a magical day,

    Ana Paula
