Mike from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I got up and checked at 5:45am PST to reserve something/anything for breakfast/lunch or dinner dining at any restaurant and it says nothing available at the 27 locations? Am I too early or too late? Just seems odd not one single time is avail 60 days out?

Hi there, Mike! Welcome to planDisney.

My husband and I are always making imaginary Disney dining reservations. We'll be making our morning coffee and one of us will say "on our next trip, let's get reservations for (fill in the blank with any number of delicious restaurants)." It's so much fun to dream about all the delicious food and drink in store for us on vacation!

It's not magical, though, to have trouble finding available dining reservations, and I'm sorry to hear this happened. Sometimes Stitch gets in the system and makes a mess. Luckily, I have some ideas for you, so tie a napkin 'round your neck and let's dig in!

First, I recommend checking both the online dining reservations webpage and the Disneyland mobile app. They function slightly differently, and you may have more luck with one. With the app, log out and log back in again, and make sure you've got the latest version running.

I checked online for your arrival date, and I did find several restaurants available. Availability is subject to change, so keep checking - as Guests change their plans, they drop reservations all the time. This is especially true in the week leading up to your visit, and during your visit.

Finally, I have to sing the praises of Mobile Order Dining. There's a walk-up list built into the Disneyland mobile app, so you can use the app when you're at Disneyland Resort to see if you can add your party to the walk-up reservation list on the same day. Be flexible - you never know which restaurant might become your new favorite. I can't promise there will be availability, but it's worth checking.

Mike, I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you find some great dining reservations for your visit to Disneyland Resort this autumn. As you count down the days, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog. I love to read their Foodie News feature and add must-eat snacks, drinks, and meals to a list on my phone. Oh boy, do I ever have a rumbly in my tumbly after thinking about all this Disneyland food!

Thanks for stopping by with your question, and please stop by again if you think of any more questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
