I checked the park availability IMMEDIATELY prior to booking. I purchased two 2-Day 1-Park with Disney tickets and now I can not book Disney California Adventure for April 28th. Please help me reserve for that park to honor what was shown prior to purchase

Hi there, Anthony! I can see that your arrival date is fast approaching, so let's jump right into your question.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having difficulty securing reservations for your upcoming dates. One thing I do want to check is that you may have made your reservations when booking your tickets. If you purchased them through the Disneyland Resort website, you would have been asked to make a reservation as part of this process. To double-check, open up the Disneyland Mobile App and tap the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner. Select "Future Plans" on the next screen. Here, you should see any theme park reservations that you have coming up, along with the number of Guests included in each reservation. I'm crossing my fingers for you that this is the case!

If not, with Spring Break upon us, I know how frustrating securing a reservation can be, especially if you were monitoring the calendar ahead of making your purchase. The theme park reservation calendar shows availability in real-time. With Guests constantly making or canceling and rescheduling their plans, reservations can change minute to minute. While my magic wand does not extend far enough to open the calendar up for you, I can tell you that if you just hold on tight to some pixie-dusted patience, reservations can (and often do) open up, especially as you get closer to your date. I myself canceled and rescheduled a few for this week so you never know what may pop up! I would recommend continuing to check the calendar, maybe even keeping it open on your computer to refresh throughout the day. I realize this is not ideal, but I also know that the magical memories you will make will hopefully be worth all that extra time and patience!

Anthony, I'm sending lots of magic your way in the hope that the calendar opens up for you. Once you are in the parks, be sure to stay past nightfall to enjoy the enchantment of some favorite nighttime spectaculars. World of Color, Disneyland Forever fireworks, and the Main Street Electrical Parade are all making their grand return on April 22nd!
