Ahoy Philip –
Oh what fun your sea pups will have in the
Oceaneer Club with
Disney Cruise Line! One of the best parts of the cruise for my tiger cubs is visiting the Oceaneer Club where they can interact with other children their age, make friends, see characters, play and have the best vacation experience possible. In the club, there will be many things going on at once that pirate children have the option to participate in as well as scheduled activities like baking cookies, making Flubber, animation classes and even Jedi Training. When checked inside the Oceaneer Club, the sea pups are not moved outside of the club but remain inside. They will not be taken to the Sports Deck or the Pool, for example. However, I have seen some athletic activities played inside such as dance parties (with and without the Disney characters), the Magic Playfloor (after I played on it I was sweating), hula-hooping contests, and scavenger hunts. While docked at
Castaway Cay, the Oceaneer Club has secured programming at
Scuttle’s Cove which is outside and has outdoor activities but no swimming. Philip, I hope this helps with your planning and if you need additional assistance please come back to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
