Welcome back to planDisney, Denise!
I am happy to hear that you will soon be bringing your furry friends for a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Our pets are part of our family and it is only fair that they also get to enjoy some pixie dust.
Select Disney Resort hotels currently welcome dogs traveling with their humans, including
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. These hotels have designated accommodations that offer convenient access to outdoor walkways and green spaces with pet relief areas. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per Guest room and they are expected to behave well, be properly vaccinated to safely enjoy their Disney visit, and stay on a leash while in public areas. Please note that other than service animals, dogs are not permitted in theme parks, water parks, and common areas like restaurants, pools, and recreational spaces. Here is a link to the
dog policies at your Disney Resort hotel for reference. To bring your pets along on your upcoming visit, please call (407) 939-7539 to inform the hotel of the special Guests joining you.
I am happy to share that pet dogs are allowed to travel to a dog-friendly resort on the
Disney’s Magical Express in the passenger cabin while in a pet carrier. The owner is responsible for providing the pet carrier, and it must be able to fit safely in a seat on the motorcoach. I recommend calling Disney’s Magical Express at (407) 939-1936 to confirm your best pals will be traveling with you.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Denise. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a
furtastic time at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
