Greetings, Lori, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I’m so glad to hEAR that you’re thinking about joining the
Disney Visa Cardmember family! Once approved, you will be able to use your new card to purchase your theme park tickets. However, if you're wondering if you'll be able to save $300 on your purchase, that amount would actually be given back as a future statement credit. I took a look at the
New Cardmember Bonus you mentioned seeing at checkout, and it says that you will earn a $300 statement credit after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Then, after qualifying, you’ll need to allow up to eight weeks for your credit to appear on your statement. So, it looks like this credit isn’t instant, but will show up after you meet the qualifications mentioned above.
I’m happy to report that your new card will also save you even more money inside the theme parks, including 10% off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations, in addition to 10% off select dining locations, too! You can also save $5 on the
Sip and Savor Pass and receive an exclusive lanyard at the 2022
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (at Disney California Adventure Park) when using your Disney Visa Card. So, before completing any transactions, it doesn’t hurt to ask if using your new card will provide some extra savings.
Speaking of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, I highly recommend checking out the
Festival Marketplaces, filled with an assortment of delicious bites, local wines, and craft beers. Avocado Time and I Heart Artichokes are my favorite stops! In addition, check out the family-friendly entertainment, cooking demonstrations, activity zones, and so much more!
Wishing you pixie-dusted adventures at the
Happiest Place on Earth this April, Lori!
We can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!
