How do I check on tickets are good next week?

    Hi Richard!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. With a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth next week, I bet you are eager to get all your Disneyland ducks in a row. I'm happy to help you navigate your way to the magic.

First things first, let's ensure your theme park tickets are still active and not expired for entry next week! There are a few ways to double-check. The first is to head into the Disneyland app, log in with your account information, and tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, selecting "My Tickets and Passes". This is where you will see any valid tickets linked to your account. Do you see anything in there? If not, I'd recommend doing a quick search of your inbox. If you purchased the ticket with your email address, you should have received a confirmation from "Disneyland Reservations" which will provide you with details about your ticket. You should see a paragraph that begins with "Ticket must be used by..." with a specific date. If we've revealed that your tickets have expired, not to worry. The value of a wholly unused ticket can be put towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value, so the magic never fully runs out! If we've gotten this far and you've either determined that your ticket has expired or you are still unsure, I'd recommend giving the Guest Services team a ring. They will be able to see into your account and can advise on the best next steps!

If you know that your tickets are still active but you are wondering if they can be used on a certain day, let's take a look at that scenario. One-Day tickets are sold in tiers based on time of year and crowd levels, with Tier 6 being the most expensive with the least blackout dates and Tier 0 being the least expensive with the most blackout dates. Looking at the ticket calendar, September 13th requires a Tier 5 ticket, meaning you would need a Tier 5 or Tier 6 ticket to enter on that day. If you found your tickets in the "My Tickets & Passes" section of the app, the Tier for the ticket you've purchased will be noted just under your name. If you happen to have a ticket that falls in Tier 0 - 4, you can easily upgrade it with just a few taps. Select the "Change Ticket" icon just under the barcode in the "My Tickets and Passes" section. Follow the steps until you get to the "Change My Reservation Dates". Here, you will see a calendar that will show you the price difference between your ticket and a Tier 5 ticket. Tap September 13th, choose the park you'd like to visit, and hit the "Continue" button. Once the purchase is complete, you should not only be all set to enter on the 13th, but you will also have secured your theme park reservation for either Disneyland or California Adventure. Both a ticket and a reservation are required for entry. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you will choose the park where you want to start your day and then can visit between the two until 11:00 AM il the end of the day.

Richard, I know this was a lot to take in! I hope it's helped make things a bit clearer. If you haven't been able to track down the validity of your ticket through the troubleshooting we've just gone through together, definitely give the Guest Services team a call. And if there's anything else we can help you with, please reach back out to us!
