Hello, Maria! A warm welcome to planDisney.
Thank you for sending us your great question about
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. Ticket expirations vary depending on when they were purchased, the length of the ticket, and whether they were used or not.
Checking if your tickets are expired is quite easy, Maria! If you wish to check from home, please email
ticket.usage@disneyworld.com and include the following information:
-- Photograph or scan of the front and back of your ticket
-- Your full name
-- Where and when ticket your ticket was purchased
-- The purchaser’s name and form of payment used
-- A phone number where you can be reached during the day
While it is always their goal to get back to you as soon as possible, a reply may take up to 14 business days. Please keep this in mind if you are traveling soon.
If you prefer to check your tickets in person upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, you can do so at the following locations:
-- Any of the ticket windows at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks or water parks
-- Concierge desks at Disney Resor hotels
-- Guest Relations at Disney Springs
You may be happy to know that Walt Disney World continues to
honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days! If you never used your ticket, it is not expired — even if it's an older ticket!
Most older tickets purchased after 2004 expire 14 days after their first use. Newer tickets expire depending on the length of the ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket expires 7 days after its first use, and a 9-day ticket expires 13 days after its first use. You can see a
complete list of ticket lengths and their corresponding expiration dates by visiting this link.
Maria, I hope I have helped answer your question. If you need any additional help, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!
With a Dash of Pixie Dust,
