    Can I check a suitcase of food at the airport or carry on a cooler with unopened food or do most people go to the grocery store upon arrival? if so where is the nearest grocery store?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

    OK...Are you ready from some MAGICAL news? I am very happy to inform you that you CAN check a suitcase of food at the airport for your vacation! My family of seven does this for every trip, and we have never had an issue whatsoever. The other great thing is that you will now have an extra suitcase to bring home all of our Disney souvenirs from your vacation.

    If you don't want to pack a suitcase of food, you can always order your groceries online and then have them delivered to your Disney Resort Hotel. My favorite online grocer is Garden Grocer. The ordering process is VERY easy, and it's a great way to have perishable items like fruit, milk, and yogurt delivered and ready to go when you arrive at your Disney Resort Hotel. If you have a car and want to drive to a grocery store, there are several stores very close to Walt Disney World like Goodings and Walmart.
