If I check out of my resort but I have a remaining park day, can I still use my magic band to charge to my card?

    Hi there, Melissa!

I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There is just something about each pixie-dusted adventure. From beginning to end, there's a feel good feeling hard to explain, but I guess that's just the power of magic.

A few trips ago, we checked out of our hotel, sent our bags on to the airport with the Resort Airline Check-In Service and stored our personal belongings with Bell Services, so we could squeeze in the last bit of park time before making our Disney's Magical Express trip back. We arrived to the park and decided we were hungry, but had gotten so used to the ease and convenience of our MagicBands all week, we didn't even think to grab our wallets out of our carry-on which was now stored safely back at the resort. I learned from all of this that even after check out, you are able to continue using your MagicBand for charging privileges until midnight of your check out day. Thank goodness, too, because lunch and a final trip on Splash Mountain was just what we needed before returning home.

Enjoy every bit of your magical adventure, Melissa, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
