Can I check in at resort, get keys/ tickets early. Spend day in park prior to room being ready

Hi Christine!  I like the way you think, arrive as early as possible and maximize the magic!

Check-in time for all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is 3:00 pm with the exception of Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, which have a check-in time of 4:00 pm.

If you have an early arrival, you are more than welcome to stop by the front desk of your resort to check in.  You can then leave any luggage you may have with Bell Services for safe keeping while you enjoy your day in the parks.  If you provided a mobile phone number to the front desk, they will text you room information when your room becomes available.

You can also simplify your arrival even further by using the Direct-to-Room Service.  The Online Check-In Service will allow you to bypass the front desk.  I use this service exclusively and I find it saves valuable time when checking in.

As you plan your January vacation, I wanted to make you aware that the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will be underway.  I have attended some of the events the last two years and have found this festival to be quite enjoyable.

Please let us know if the planDisney team can assist you further.
