Hi, Patricia! How exciting! You’re one step closer to your Disney Cruise vacation. I’m happy to help you with the check-in process.
Guests can use a
birth certificate on closed-loop sailings. Under your child’s name, select “birth certificate” for their citizenship documentation. Take a picture of the birth certificate and upload the image. You can then review the information that populates. You’ll also need to submit a recent color photo of each guest from the shoulders up. If you're running into technical difficulties, please
reach out to Disney Cruise Line via phone or online chat, and they will be able to help you out.
One of the last steps in the check-in process is to select a Port Arrival Time. This is the time you should aim to arrive at the terminal. Make sure you print this form out or save it to your phone. Once all the required information is submitted, your online check-in status will change from "Not Started" to "Pending Approval." This sometimes takes a while, so don’t worry if it still says pending for a few more weeks.
On embarkation day, Cast Members will check your Port Arrival Form and scan everyone’s citizenship documents to complete the check-in process. Then, you’ll be on your way through the iconic golden Mickey ears and onto the ship!
Since you’re traveling with children, I recommend visiting the youth clubs on the first day during open house hours to see these amazing spaces together. Sailors between the ages of 3 and 10 are welcome in
Disney’s Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab, while those between the ages of 11 and 14 have access to the tween club,
Edge. Teens have their own space to hang out in
Vibe. You can pre-register your younger children during online check-in or once you arrive on the ship.
I hope this information helps! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any additional questions. My pals and I are standing by, ready to help.
SEAS the adventure!
