Do you check in at the regular Wilderness Lodge if staying at the WL Villas? Also, is there an area of the villas you would suggest? Close to pools, transporation and with a good view? Thanks so much! Moms Panel is great!!

    Hi Derek,

You are in for a real treat if you will be staying at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge!  I just love this enchanting resort.

When you arrive at the resort, head to the lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge to check in.  There is no separate check-in desk in the Villas.  There's nothing like standing in the awe-inspiring seven-story lobby of that magnificent main lodge.  It's a great place to kick off a fabulous vacation.

As far as room requests for the Villas, I would call your reservation specialist and ask him or her to put the following request on your room:  high floor, pool view, near the elevator.  Being on a high floor facing Bay Lake puts you in a good position to watch the Electrical Water Pageant as it glides across the water nightly.  You can even hear the music from your balcony.  So delightful!  Being near the elevator also guarantees that you're only ever a few steps away from the front of the resort where the complimentary Disney buses depart.

Wishing you a magical stay at my favorite resort in the whole world!
