Welcome back to planDisney, Lori!
I'm delighted to help you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Making a dining reservation at a favorite Walt Disney World Resort restaurant on departure day is a great way to postpone your return to a less pixie-dusted reality just a little while longer. It's one of my favorite traditions! Personally, I'm partial to wrapping up a vacation with character hugs at
'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch and lingering as long as possible in the tropical lobby of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Of course, we're not at the Polynesian right now, so enough lingering. Let's talk luggage!
I reached out to a helpful Cast Member with your inquiry, and she shared that while each Disney Resort hotel does offer luggage storage through
Bell Services, this service is prioritized for current Guests of the Resort hotel. Space permitting, Cast Members would likely be happy to store your luggage with proof of dining reservation, but this isn't a guarantee. If Bell Services is unable to accommodate your luggage, you might also consider checking with a Cast Member at the restaurant to see if they have an area set aside for instances such as these. You're likely not the first Guest to turn up with a bit of baggage.
I'm sure that you are hoping for a definitive answer before you make your decision, so I suggest stopping by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel on the way to breakfast. There you'll find Cast Members who have likely encountered this situation before and can share the likelihood of securing luggage storage at your destination. This will allow you to make a decision with as much information as possible.
Thanks for stopping by, Lori! I hope this was helpful. If you find yourself in need of further assistance, don't hesitate to ask.
I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
