Ahoy Jenny and welcome back to planDisney! It's great to have you visiting us again where my pals and I are always happy to help.
I'm just like you when it comes to wanting to get a jump start on
the fun of a Disney Cruise, and for me, that means staying up late on the night that I am able to check-in for my cruise. Your check-in will open 30 days prior to your sailing date at exactly midnight EST.
Unlike Cinderella, the magic actually begins at midnight. And I might not be a Fairy Godmother, but I'd love to give you a few tips so that you can feel prepared. First, have clear photos taken of your vaccination cards and your passport. Make sure they are in ".JPG" format. My newer phone stores photos in an ".HEIC" format and I needed to export them to ".JPEG" for them to upload properly.
Secondly, take a well-lit photo of each member of your sailing crew from about the shoulders up against a plain background. If anyone in your party wears glasses, ask them to remove them to take the picture.
With those photos in the correct format on the device that you are going to use to check-in, you should be all good to go. Just try not to turn into a pumpkin before midnight! If you need a recommendation of something to do while you wait up, planDisney's new podcast just launched today! I can't wait to give it a listen.
Have a wonderful sailing and please cruise back to us if you have any more questions. I'm happy when I can help a fellow guest chart a course for adventure!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
