How can I check open availability during a period of time such as March 13 - March 20? I have flexibility with that period of time and only want to stay a few days at camp wilderness.

    Welcome to planDisney, Domenic!

I'm so glad you stopped by to ask about availability at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! It's also great that you have some flexibility in your travel dates - this should make it a bit easier for you to find a great option that fits your needs.

Like you, I'm often planning my crew's Walt Disney World Resort trips with a decent amount of date flexibility. With so many wonderful Disney Resorts Collection hotels to choose from, I know from experience that trying to sort through all the various options across multiple date ranges can be a tad overwhelming. In your case, if you have a 7-day window, I think checking availability online shouldn't be too time-consuming.

Simply start with either The Campsites or The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness, and click the Room Rates tab near the top of the page. From there you will enter dates to see what is available. Currently, there is not a way to simply indicate a date range to see availability. Instead, you'll need to enter specific dates, and then click the Change button in the blue bar near the top to check new dates. As I mentioned, if you're just looking for 3 nights within a 7-day range, that should be quite easy to accomplish in five or so searches.

Sometimes I have a larger date range that I'm exploring, and when that's the case, I find it much easier to call and speak to a Reservations Cast Member directly at 407-939-1936. Keep in mind that they do not have access to different availability, but do have some extra pixie dust that makes exploring availability a bit simpler than you doing it on your own!

While you're hunkering down at Fort Wilderness, be sure to grab a meal at Trail's End Restaurant. I recently dined there for the first time and the all-you-care-to-enjoy American favorites in a rustic setting made me feel right at home!

I hope you are able to find the perfect spot to set up camp for your upcoming trip. If there are any other questions we can assist with, please let me know!
