If I check in online using My Disney Experience website and have linked my reservations and tickets to the Magic Bands, do I still have to visit the front desk when I arrive? Will the website tell me what room number I have been assigned?

    Hi there, Tracy!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question!

Even if you have everything linked in your My Disney Experience profile, you will still need to stop by the front desk of your Resort hotel upon your arrival to have your package activated. Checking in online will speed up that process as you can attach a credit card and give charging privileges as you'd like to. When you check in at the front desk, you will receive a packet of information, including a map of your Resort and a schedule of daily activities going on at your Resort.

The check-in time for most of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3:00 p.m. Eastern. The Cast Member at the front desk will let you know if your room is available immediately or approximately how long it might take for it to be ready. They will also provide you with your room number at that point. When you complete your online check-in, you can select to receive a text message when your room is ready.

I sure hope this helps, Tracy! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
