When I check in online for our stay at Disney World and link a credit card, will it be possible for everyone on our reservation to link their magic bands to the credit card in order to pay for food and purchases?

    Hi Gerrit! Welcome to planDisney.

Sounds like the whole family is headed to a magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort. If you pre-ordered your MagicBands, those bands should be automatically linked to each person. You can verify this by checking the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "MagicBands and More." Everyone you manage should be visible. By tapping on each name, you can view all MagicBands associated with each guest. If you are missing any MagicBands, tap the "Link Your MagicBand or Card" and follow the prompts.

Now, let's cover Check-in services. I highly advise you to complete early check-in either online or through the app to skip the front desk. It is at this step you will either confirm or enter your credit card on file. I must clarify for you, you cannot link credit cards to minors for payment. If minors will be independent of you to make purchases, I recommend using Disney Gift Cards or Apple Pay at registers. Another workaround is for your children to log into your My Disney Experience account. By doing this, they can Mobile Order and use your credit card on file for payment.

Now, if you have other adults in your hotel room, I find it easiest to stop by the front desk for assistance from a Cast Member. I do this for every girls' trip. Each member of our party will verify their own credit card is linked specifically to their MagicBand.

I sure hope I covered all of the possible scenarios you may run across with credit cards, MagicBands, and online check-in. If I missed something, stop by planDisney to ask another question. We are always here to help!
