Hello there! Welcome to planDisney, Laurie! I’m so happy to be able to help you today.
Isn't planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation so much fun? I always have such a blast thinking about all the incredible restaurants I'll eat at, and the thrilling attractions I'll get to enjoy on my next visit. But of course, I know it can all get a bit overwhelming. Luckily, there are so many resources to explore to help you plan your visit, including
Disney Parks Blog, where you'll find the latest updates on what's new and exciting at Walt Disney World. I definitely recommend checking it out! In the meantime, I'm so happy to be able to answer your question today!
Entirely unused
theme park tickets do expire, but the value of the ticket remains under your account and can be used toward a future visit. Since the tickets are expired, they will no longer show up in your My Disney Experience account, so you would need to call Guest Relations directly at (407) 934-7639, where a Cast Member will be happy to go through any available tickets under your name.
Now, entirely unused means that none of the days on your ticket were used. For example, let's say you purchased a four days park hopper. If you entered a theme park for three days of your four-day ticket, you would not be able to use the value of your single unused day toward a future visit. Therefore, all four days would need to be wholly unused to still hold value in your account.
Laurie, if you visit any time through March 2023, you’ll get to join in the fun of
The World's Most Magical Celebration! You can feel the EARIdescent magic in the air from the moment you arrive, so I highly recommend visiting before the party ends! I won't want to miss the delicious limited-time celebratory bites available throughout the parks. My personal favorite is the yummy 50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich from Dino-Bite Snacks at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
I hope you found this answer helpful! As you continue to prep for your upcoming visit, know that we are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. So, please visit us again with any questions you may have.
Bye for now!
