We check out morning of Sept. 11 & plan on going to a character brunch & then animal kingdom. So we would not be leaving Disney til 7pm. We can put our suitcases in the car but there are a few things we need locked up. What do you suggest to do?

Hi Dan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be very excited that your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so close! My family likes to schedule our flight home as late in the day as possible, so we can continue enjoying the magic on our departure day, just like you have planned to do. What a fun vacation you have ahead of you!

There are a couple of options for you to consider when it comes to handling your luggage on your check out day. My family often uses Bell Services to hold our luggage after we leave our room. They will gladly hold it for us until we return to retrieve it and leave for home. This service is complimentary, but I make sure to have a little cash on hand to tip the Cast Members that handle our luggage.

If you don't want to return to your Disney Resort hotel, you can pack the items you need to lock up in a separate small bag and rent a locker in Disney's Animal Kingdom when you arrive. Make sure to check out the Park Rules to verify that all your items are permitted into the theme park. If all your valuable items can be brought into the theme parks, you can rent either a small or large locker in Disney's Animal Kingdom to store your bag until you leave the theme parks. You can find current locker dimensions and prices on the page I linked for you above.

I hope this helps, Dan! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
