    Is there a way that I can check when my magic bands will be shipped to me so that way I can have my kids open the mail to tell them we are going to Disney ?

    Hi, Lesley!  Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Surprising your kiddos with a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is truly a magical moment!  My husband and I managed to plan one of our Walt Disney World Resort trips a few years ago as a surprise for our children.  It was difficult to make all of the preparations in secret, but the look of pure joy on their faces when we revealed the news on the morning of our vacation made it all worthwhile.

    In order to reveal our big surprise to our Mouseketeers, my husband and I gift wrapped our MagicBands and had the kids open them.  If you wish to surprise your children with the most magical mail on earth, it will be quite simple for you to determine approximately when your MagicBands will be delivered to your home.  If you log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My MagicBands and Cards," you will see your MagicBands for your upcoming trip.  Click on the order for your MagicBands, and you should see a date listed as the deadline by which to customize your MagicBands.  This will give you a rough estimate as to when your MagicBands will be shipped to you.  Once the shipment is on its way, you will also receive a notice through your My Disney Experience account.

    Lesley, you certainly chose a wonderful time to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  There are so many new and exciting things happening at the Walt Disney World Resort this year.  I am sure you will agree that now more than ever, it's a great time to visit!
