Well hello there, Kathy! I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney, where all your vacation planning questions get answered. I am happy to help you figure out where to store your luggage on your Disney park day so it doesn't become baggage.
First, if you are coming from a Disney Resort Hotel, you can store your bags with
Bell Services. They will hold onto your items after check-out so you can visit the parks or enjoy the resort. Be sure to hang onto the provided claim slip and hand it to a Bell Services Cast Member at the hotel when you're finished for the day. They will retrieve your items from their storage area and wish you safe travels home.
Next, if you are coming from an offsite hotel, I recommend asking the front desk there if they offer luggage storage of some kind. They may have a room available for guests who are checking out but don't want to lug their bags around before heading out toward their final destination.
Finally, there are some
rentable lockers available at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Jumbo lockers measure 17" x 22" x 26", cost $15 per day (subject to change), and are rented on a first-come, first-served basis. You may want to arrive bright and early to secure one of these.
Please keep in mind that all bags are subject to search at security checkpoints, so you may want to review the list of
prohibited items when you're packing up for the day. It's also important to know that bags with dimensions larger than 24" long, 15" wide, and 18" high are not allowed in Disney theme parks or water parks.
That should be all the information you need to ensure your visit to Disney World with luggage is in the bag, Kathy! Come back and see us here at planDisney if you have additional questions.
Stay magical,
Scott
