Hiya, Eric!
Oh boy! Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a couple of sleeps away. And it sounds like you may be arriving even sooner. How exciting! So let's not delay, on to advice for extending your stay by a day!
Because your arrival date is so very soon, you will not be able to modify your package online. But that doesn't mean you do not have options! When it comes to finding a way to get to Walt Disney World earlier than expected, I always find a way. My first suggestion would be to look at your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel's availability online. If your resort and room category are available, you can call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to add an additional day. The hotel room inventory on the website is listed in real-time, so if you do not see availability for your resort you may need to explore staying at another Disney Resort hotel location. This is called a "split stay", and it is a great way to explore some of the other wonderful resort hotels that are part of the Disney magic. And transferring to your next resort is easy! Simply leave your luggage with Bell Services and let them know that you will be transferring hotel locations. Be sure to keep in mind that luggage transfers can take several hours, so you may beat your belongings to your second resort. Check-in with Bell Services when you arrive to see if your bags have made their way to your next stop. And be sure to hold on to the luggage tickets given to you when you check your bags. I also want to mention that Bell Servies will not transfer perishable items. So if you are only staying one night at your first stop, you may want to hold off on grocery deliveries.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you get to arrive early and enjoy an extra day.
We'll see ya real soon!
