How do I check in to my hotel

Hey there, Victor, and welcome to planDisney! I love staying at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort when my family and I visit - it sounds like you have an upcoming trip staying at one of these iconic hotels as well!

The check-in process has become so easy and convenient now. My recommendation is to download the Disneyland mobile app and log in with your Disneyland.com account (the same one you used to book your hotel stay if you booked it online). Once you are in the app, you can use the Direct-to-Room feature! It will ask you a few quick questions, including what time you're planning on arriving at the resort and if you'd like a text when your room is ready, and then you're all set.

Alternatively, you can also speak with one of the Cast Members in the lobby of whichever hotel you're staying at and they can also complete the check-in process for you. This is a nice option if you're new to the Disneyland Resort so you can ask them about getting to the parks and any other questions you might have.

Speaking of which, I thought I'd leave you with my favorite way to access the parks from each of the three hotels of the Disneyland Resort as an extra little tip. If you're staying at the Disneyland Hotel or at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, I like to use the Disneyland Monorail to access Disneyland Park. You can enter the Downtown Disney Monorail entrance located next to Star Wars™ Trading Post and it will take you right into the park to Tomorrowland. It's a great way to skip the crowds at the entry gates! If you're staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa then you can choose the monorail, or the main entry gates are right around the corner from you as well.

Similarly, if you're entering Disney California Adventure Park and are staying at one of the hotels of the Disneyland Resort then you can access the hotel-guest-only entrances directly from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (follow the signs starting in the lobby) or the newest entrance via the path that runs along the south side of the hotel. For this one, start in the lobby, exit out the front entrance, and turn left. Follow this sidewalk around the curve just before you exit out of the pedestrian gate. You should see some signs and an additional path heading to your left that will lead you to the park entrance and you'll just need to use your hotel key card to access it. This is a quick and easy entry to the park right into Pixar Pier.

Thank you again for your question, Victor! I do hope you have such a fun time on your trip.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
