If you check in to Fort Wilderness on your phone and plan to use your mobile for entry to the park and to access LL rides, is there any reason to physically speak to/visit front desk or guest relations?

Hey There, Hi There, Hi There, Taryn!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.  Thanks so much for dropping by with a question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort holiday. Are you getting excited about your visit yet?  If you've never stayed at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground before, you're in for a treat –– not only is this one of the most unique Resorts at Walt Disney World, but there are so many activities to enjoy throughout your stay.  Without a doubt, my kids' favorite Fort Wilderness activity is Chip N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, where they love joining their favorite furry friends for songs, s'mores, and a Movie Under the Stars. You'll also want to be sure and check out the recently-remodeled Tri-Circle-D Ranch –– I took a tour of this beautiful equestrian facility last year and it blew me away, so it's definitely my recommendation for a can't-miss spot at the Resort!

Whether you're planning to start your visit by exploring the Resort or you're ready to head straight to a Walt Disney World theme park, I definitely recommend using the My Disney Experience mobile app to take advantage of Disney's Online Check-In Service.  Once you've completed your online check-in, you'll have the option to completely bypass your Resort's Front Desk and use the app's Direct-to-Room service to let you know when your room is ready and even unlock your Resort door.  In fact, unless I have a question or need to make a room request, I usually don't need to visit the Front Desk at all when I stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  Since maximizing park time is a must for my family, we usually store our bags with Bell Services as soon as we arrive at the Resort (if our room isn't ready) and jump on one of Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation options to head straight to the park.  Then, when the day's adventures are done and our room is ready, we can head right to our door and have our luggage delivered to our room –– it's easy and convenient, just the way a magical holiday should be!

I hope this helped to answer your question, Taryn, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney.  If you think of more planning questions as your Walt Disney World Resort holiday gets closer, please don't hesitate to stop by again –– we're always here to help!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
