    Can you check an empty backpack or purse in your gear bag with your other stuff? (So after the race your stuff can repacked into something comfortable to carry around)?

    Hello, again! 

    You ask great questions, Kelly! This one is my favorite. I have great tips for you on this. 

    My advice is to get a cinch sack or backpack and go ahead and fill it with your items. Then, take this bag and place it inside the clear plastic gEAR Bag you will receive at packet pickup. Don't forget to affix the number sticker you are given with your bib to the front of your bag (this sticker will have the first initial of your last name and then your bib number). 

    After completing your race and retrieving your gEAR Bag from the bag check tents, you can pull out your day bag and just throw away the gEAR Bag. Simple as that! Here are some items I suggest packing inside your bag to help you enjoy your day at Epcot post-5K.

    • Dry shirt /clothes - Your official Walt Disney World® 5K t-shirt is a great option
    • Travel size pack of disposable facial wipes/baby wipes
    • Travel size bottle of lotion 

    You won't need to worry about cash, credit cards or theme park tickets. All that will be linked to your MagicBand through your My Disney Experience Account - you'll be able to wear your MagicBand while you run.
