Hello, Julie!
Thank you for stopping by and visiting us at
planDisney, welcome. There’s nothing I love more than planning for a visit. It’s funny in a way, even while we are still
there, I find myself planning for our next visit. It’s our favorite place to be!
Julie, you are correct. If you are wanting to visit the parks before your check-in date, you will want to book your
resort and tickets separately. Otherwise, your ticket start date will begin on your check-in date. My sister experienced this back in April. Her package was a
good deal, and it was a last-minute realization, so she ended up just
purchasing a 1-Day Ticket to use the day before her check-in date. It worked out perfectly! So that is an option for you to try as well. She also ended up pushing her flight to a later time so she could enjoy the parks for a little longer, which is also another great tip. My family and I always look to purchase the earliest arrival flight and the latest departure so that we can enjoy the most of our visit.
Overall, it was a fantastic trip. I’m so happy she was able
to book her trip around the same time my family was there so we could all enjoy some extra time together. I hope this helps answer your question. And please let us know if there’s anything else we can do when it comes to planning for this visit!
Have a Magical Day!
