Welcome back,
Judy, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always look forward to your fabulous questions.
I'm so glad you're planning to stop at several Disney resorts to check out their spectacular holiday decorations during your upcoming stay. While the Walt Disney World Resort hotels are always beautiful, I find them even more enchanting than normal when they are all dressed up for the holidays.
According to the sign posted at the dock behind Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the boat with the blue flag that transports guests between Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort runs in a continuous loop daily between 6:45 am and 11:30 pm. I have enjoyed that boat ride many times and it is a short, soothing ride across Bay Lake at any time of day.
May I make a suggestion? In addition to seeing the Christmas decorations at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, I encourage you to make a stop at Disney's Wilderness Lodge as well. I would argue that the holiday decor at this resort is the most beautiful on Disney property. Good luck keeping your jaw off the ground when you see the enormous Christmas tree in the lobby. It is absolutely stunning! If you have time, head over to Boulder Ridge Villas to see the tree in their lobby too.
If time permits, you could hop on the monorail and see the decorations at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian resort as well. Just swing by the front desk at Disney's Contemporary Resort while you are there to ask how late the monorail will be running that day.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Jill
