Check in day is a Sunday at 3pm. Can we still park in the resorts parking lot in the morning before check in time so we can take the busses to a park?

Hey, howdy, hey Melinda, and welcome back to planDisney. I am smiling like the Cheshire Cat with happiness because you stopped back by with a question.

We have arrived many times for our pixie-dusted vacation before our room is ready. So what do we do? We park and catch Walt Disney World Resort Transportation to see Mickey and the Fab Five and experience our favorite attractions like the Haunted Mansion and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Yes, Guests are welcome to park at Resort hotels and then leave immediately for the theme parks. When you return to your Resort Hotel after getting the alert from Online Check-In that your room is ready, just move your car to the closest parking area. If you did not utilize Online Check-In service then check in at the lobby reception desk to get your room assignment. Please not that Overnight Resort parking fees vary depending on the service level of the Resort Hotel.

planDisney Pro Tip: The My Disney Experience Mobile app is the best way to make your Genie+ service reservations, mobile order food, scan to purchase items at select Merchandise Mobile Checkout locations, and even unlock your Disney Resort hotel door.

Melinda, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
