    On check in day we will be arriving at the resort around 830am, Is it possible to get our magic bands and then head to a park and check in later that evening? What about our luggage can we leave it there at the resort?

    Hey Michelle

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With My Magic+ you will have the luxury of wearing your theme park tickets and room keys. Yep..I said wear them. MagicBands are a fun, convenient, wearable technology designed to make your life easy while at Walt Disney World Resort.

    For Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels you will be able to customize and received your MagicBands before you arrive. Customization is done on My DIsney Experience as soon as your Disney Resort hotel reservation has been confirmed. Once you have finished customizing your MagicBands with a special color and name for each Guest in your party the MagicBands will undergo a fulfillment process then be ship directly to the address of your choice. You may even choose to pick them up at the Disney Resort hotel.

    You are going to love the new resort online check-in system that Mickey and the gang have developed for their Guests where you will receive a text message when your room is ready. I still enjoy checking in at the front desk. Since your estimated time of arrival is 8:30 a.m. it is likely the room will not be ready. You may leave your luggage with Bag Services in the lobby where they will give you a claim ticket for your bags when you need them. You may also request that your luggage be delivered to your room when it is ready.

    Disney Dad Tip: If you are driving your own car to the theme parks, make sure to get a parking pass for your Disney Resort hotel. This pass doubles as a parking pass for all theme parks.
