We check in 9/30/24. What date can I begin booking my dinner reservations?

Hi there, Jeanette! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney--I hope you're having the best day ever! I'm happy to help with your vacation planning question.

It is always a good idea to be thinking ahead about where to eat when you visit Walt Disney World Resort. And there are so many wonderful options!  Currently, Guests may begin booking dining reservations online beginning at 6:00 AM, 60 days before their check-in date (7:00 AM via phone). Based on your September 30 arrival, you will be able to make dining reservations on Thursday, August 1. Make sure you are logged into your My Disney Experience account so that you can see all the days of your Walt Disney World reservation!

Jeanette, you may want to investigate whether a Disney dining plan is the way to go for your  September vacation. There are two options:
    • The Disney Dining Plan is great if your group enjoys Table-Service and Character Dining. This plan includes 1 Quick-Service meal, 1 Table-Service meal, and 1 snack or nonalcoholic beverage for each Guest per night of your stay. Our family typically selects this option since we like to have a sit-down meal scheduled each day to have a break and refuel!
    • For groups on the go, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan fits like Cinderella's glass slipper. Guests are entitled to 2 Quick-Service meals, and 1 snack or nonalcoholic drink per night of the stay.
    • Both plans include a Resort Refillable Mug, which is a great value! You can enjoy complimentary refills of coffee, tea, and soda from any of the self-service beverage stations located at Walt Disney World resort hotels. The refills aren't available in the theme parks, but I like to bring my empty mug and fill it with water throughout the day to stay hydrated!
I hope this information is just what you're looking for, Jeanette. Have those lightning-fast fingers ready to go on August 1--may you get all the dining reservations you need! If you need any additional information or specific restaurant recommendations, don't hesitate to reach out directly. I'm always happy to help!
