Hi Joni!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!! It appEARs that you are headed out to sea on the Disney Fantasy for a week long adventure! And not only that, but a
Halloween on the High Seas voyage! Make sure you plan ahead and bring Halloween costumes with you for the SPOOKTACULAR onboard Halloween-themed activities including trick-or-treating throughout the ship!
Yes! Yes! Yes! You can most certainly check your Mouseketeer into the Oceaneer Club and Lab while you go explore on land! And, in fact, I think it is a great idea! My husband and I will often plan an excursion while at port and leave our boys back on the ship where we know they will be so well taken care of – and having the best time! In fact, our boys will often prefer to stay onboard on port days because the Youth Clubs tend to be a little less crowded! So, we gladly take advantage of the chance to get away while they have fun of their own! While operating hours of the Youth Clubs will vary day to day, they will be open early enough for you to check your little in and make it to your onboard meeting spot. They will also serve lunch if you happen to be gone during lunchtime. While you do not need to reserve a spot for them in the Youth Club, I do recommend informing the Counselors when you check your child in that you will be heading off the ship.
If you haven’t yet, make sure you download the
Navigator app and set the Cruise Countdown Clock! And then be prepared so that when your Online Check In and onboard activity window opens (75 days ahead of sailing for first time Guests), you will be ready to go!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea and on land!
Stephanie
