Welcome to planDisney, Kim and thanks for stopping by with your question!
Kim, how exciting that you'll be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the Halloween season! If you're visiting
Magic Kingdom Park, make sure to take pictures of the most adorable Mickey-shaped pumpkins and fall decor lining Main Street, U.S.A. You'll also find a wide array of fall and
Halloween-themed snacks and treats at all four parks, most available through October 31st.
Now, Kim, let's talk about
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! I love this property, the onsite dining options like
Sebastian's Bistro, and of course, its access to the
Disney Skyliner! From Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it's a quick and easy flight to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios. On your arrival day, you are welcome to arrive at the resort at 8:00 AM, however, please note that your room likely will not be ready until the afternoon. If you
complete the Online Check-In through your My Disney Experience Mobile App in advance (which I highly recommend) you can select an arrival time. This will notify the Cast Members that you'll be onsite early in the day. You will then get an alert as to when your room is ready.
There have been many vacations where my family and I arrived at our Disney Resort Hotel early in the day, had a leisurely lunch, and swam at the pool prior to gaining access to our room. You can store any bags with
Bell Services so that you can move around the property easily before your room is ready. My family and I also love to visit Disney Springs on our arrival day and do a bit of shopping before adventures in the parks.
Kim, I hope this helps as you're planning out your first day at Walt Disney World. I'll be wishing on a star that it is full of Magic and pixie dust.
Please come on back with any additional questions you might have. We love to see a returning guest!
Lauren
