Hi Arun!
On behalf of the planDisney panel, I say welcome and thank you for your service! Since you are stationed in California, a
Disneyland Resort vacation would be a brilliant idea now that we’ve been able to “tell the guard to open up the gates!”
Guests who are California residents can now visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park “for the first time in forever.” Here’s the good news for you: families stationed in California are allowed to enter the theme parks with
theme park tickets and a
theme park reservation! When you purchase tickets and make a theme park reservation online, you will need to use your California military base address in order to qualify for reserving these under your Disneyland account. During the reservation process, you will be asked to confirm that everyone in your travel party lives in California. Maybe
this guide will help you navigate the steps for the theme park tickets and reservation system.
You are correct that proof of residency will be required for admission to
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. Here’s a planDisney tip: we recommend that you bring both your Military ID and a utility bill (if you live off-base) and your Military ID and your Orders (if you live on-base). Just so the Cast Members can see that you are stationed in California and in the military, that should be more than sufficient.
We wish you a fantastic time at Disneyland Resort...“In Summer.” (Imagine that in my best Olaf voice). Please come back to planDisney anytime because we love helping Guests. It’s truly better than warm hugs!
See ya real soon!
Sherry
