Hello Crystal,
Your magical vacation will be here before you know it! Every month of the year is a great month to visit Walt Disney World, but I love May.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, and the weather is usually perfect, especially in the evenings.
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a fantastic. You're going to love being able to walk to Magic Kingdom, especially at the end of the night. Although seeing Space Mountain from your resort may tempt you to spend an extra day in the parks, there are plenty of things to do throughout Walt Disney World that don't require a park ticket.
Start by exploring your resort.
You have three pools to enjoy: Bay Cove Pool, the Main Pool at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and a quieter Bay Lake Pool. You could definitely spend a couple of hours poolside, or even splurge and
rent a cabana for the day. Swimming not your thing? How about tennis, basketball, or volleyball? Bay Lake Towers has courts for all of these sports and provides guests complimentary use of racquets and balls for playing. At
Community Hall you'll find activities like crafts, board games, ping-pong, and more. In the evening you can roast marshmallows around the campfire and enjoy an
outdoor movie.
That's just what's going on at your resort. You can also head to
Disney Springs for shopping, dining, and fun. From searching for the perfect souvenir and grabbing a sweet treat to bowling at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes or making plans to see
Drawn to Life, the new Cirque du Soleil show, there is always something fun to do.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
