Can we check in before 3 and have our bands activated even if the rooms aren't ready? Or will our bands be automatically activated the day we are supposed to arrive?

    Hi Wallace!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Even though the standard check-in time at Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3:00p.m., your magical vacation can begin as soon as you get to Walt Disney World Resort! When you arrive at your hotel, head to the Front Desk so you can activate any tickets that you have purchased as part of a vacation package as well as your dining plan if you will be using one during your trip. The reception Cast Members will also be able to help you make sure your MagicBands are activated and you have a PIN setup to allow you to make purchases with your MagicBand that are linked back to your room account. I also love to setup the text notification option, which will allow you to receive text message notifications when your room is ready and even give you your room number so you when your day is over you can head straight to your room!

You can take advantage of Online Check-In to get everything set for you 60 days in advance and this will make your stop at the Front Desk quick and easy. Be sure to check your luggage with Bell Services so you don't have to worry about it while you enjoy your day playing in the theme park, exploring the grounds of your resort hotel or doing some shopping at Disney Springs. Please let us know if you have any other questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
