Welcome to planDisney, Pat! It sounds like you're one step closer to enjoying a Disney vacation.
To check your balance and make a payment on your Walt Disney World vacation package, just log into your My Disney Experience account. I highly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for this task, as the website is often easier to navigate than the mobile app, especially when managing payments and detailed reservations.
Once logged in, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and select “My Plans.” From there, scroll down until you see your vacation package details. You should see a link to view your balance and make a payment.
If you have a room-only reservation, you’ll still be able to view your balance in the same section of your My Disney Experience account. Just navigate to the "
My Plans" page once you're logged in. However, at this time, payments for room-only reservations can’t be made online.
To take care of your balance, you have two simple options:
Call and speak with a helpful Cast Member to make a payment before your arrival, or stop by the front desk once you're on property and pay in person.
If you’ve completed the online check-in process and added a valid payment method, your balance will automatically be charged to that account on your check-in day. This is my favorite way to handle it because I can skip the front desk entirely, and it lets me head straight to the magic the moment I arrive!
Be sure to make your final payment at least 45 days before your check-in date to avoid any hiccups. And if you make any modifications to your package, like
adding tickets, changing dates, or including the
Dining Plan, your balance will automatically update to reflect the changes.
