How do I check availability for all resorts on the DVC website? Looking week by week is frustrating. I’d like to see everything at a glance.

    Hi Richard!

As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm glad to welcome you to planDisney.  It might seem far away now, but June is going to be here before you know it.  As your Walt Disney World arrival approaches, you'll want to make sure to finish up all those final planning details here in the home stretch, like making your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass reservation system and booking your dining reservations for exciting spots like the all-new Space 220 Lounge and Steakhouse 71.  If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to book advance dining reservations 60 days from the date of check-in, plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days), which means your booking window will be opening up in just a few weeks!

I know it can feel overwhelming when you're searching for DVC Resort availability in small blocks, but I've got some great news –– you can view three months of availability for each Resort and room type at one time by using the calendar feature on the Disney Vacation Club booking portal. All you'll need to do is input the number of Guests in your party, select your ideal travel dates, and choose all the room types and Resorts you'd like to search.  On the next page, you'll see the Resorts showing full availability for the period you selected, followed by the room options with partial or waitlist availability.  From there, click the arrow next to each room type to access the calendar which will show which nights are available for that room during a 3-month period of time.

If you'd like to change your arrival based on what the calendar shows, you can simply click on any date to select and book a new date range.  You also have the option to tap on more than one arrow, allowing you to see the calendar-based availability for as many rooms or Resorts as you'd like.  That way, you can scroll up and down the page to see what's available for multiple Resorts at the same time.  You can also check for availability at multiple DVC Resorts by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800 where a Cast Member will be happy to assist you, as well.

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Richard.  I'm wishing you lots of luck in finding the perfect room for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
