Hi Debra,
It's great to see you planning Disney at planDisney again! My husband's planning on a stellar WVU football season this year. We recently sat down to fit a game into our fall schedule and spent a considerable amount of time viewing ticket availability for various games. I found myself wishing there was a better way to view availability across the entire season, so I can definitely relate to your situation.
As you've experienced,
Disney Resorts Collection hotel availability can only be searched online by inputting specific vacation dates. Rather than spending hours inputting a variety of check-in/check-out dates, my best tip is to speak to a Cast Member at the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations number, (407) 939-1936. Your search for a three-night stay may come up as unavailable, for example, but these Cast Members have access to the reservation system that can tell you exactly which nights are available/unavailable for your party size. Their expertise also means they might be able to recommend more efficient ways to find what you're looking for. In my experience, any extra time spent waiting to speak to a Cast Member is more than made up for with motivating hold music and invaluable guidance and wisdom. The phone lines are open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET.
Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the best way to immerse yourself in Disney magic.
Complimentary transportation to and from the parks and Disney Springs,
early theme park entry, and the ability to make
advance dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before check-in are just a few of my favorite perks.
When you've solidified dates for your resort stay and are ready to talk tickets, attractions, or Disney dining, Debra, planDisney will be ready!
Let's go mountaineers!
