Check out at All-Star at 11:00, board Magic Express around 4:30 PM for 7:30 PM return flight. Do bags go directly to airport at checkout? And what can we do between checkout and time to board Magic Express?

    Hi Angela,

For most airlines, there is airline check-in right at the hotel. If you have checked bags, you can leave them with resort airline check-in as early as 5:00 a.m. (but no later than 1:00 p.m.) and they will bring them to the airport and load them onto the plane, just as if you had checked in at the airport. This is what I do when I have checked luggage, it saves you lots of hassle with trying to get your bags on the Magical Express bus and roll them around the airport. However, you are under no obligation to do this. You can bring all your luggage onto ME if you like.

Whatever method you choose, you can leave some or all of your bags with the Bell Services desk at the hotel. They will tag your bags, give you a receipt, and store them in a secure location until you return. Even if I use airline check-in at the hotel, I still usually have some carry-on items which I leave with Bell Services.

I would try to make good use of your last day. Typically on my last day, I'm up super early. I bring my luggage to either airline check-in, Bell Services, or both. Then I'm off to the parks by 8:00 a.m. With a Magical Express departure in the late afternoon, you could easily get in seven full hours in the parks. As an alternative, you could sleep later and enjoy a nice meal and some shopping at Downtown Disney or play a round of mini-golf. You have nearly a full day - make the most of it!
