Hi there, David, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm always looking for a good deal; anything to make it more affordable to visit my Happy Place. As an Annual Passholder and member of a military family, there are quite a few that come my way throughout the year, but there's always a little pixie dust to go around for everyone.
First things first, check out the
Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts webpage on the Walt Disney World website. That is my go-to spot to get the latest and greatest deals. For example, earlier this year, there was a deal for Disney+ subscribers to get an included dining plan with their purchase of a non-discounted Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay.
In general, you can look at the
Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets webpage to look at the published prices for each day that you're considering to come. This is a good marker of when it's more affordable to go to the theme parks. You can do the same when looking at hotel prices. Plug in your desired dates and you'll see many results of hotel room options at the several places to stay on property.
As a Florida resident, I can tell you that the theme parks are the busiest (and the tickets and
Disney Genie+ are a bit more) during the holidays, especially in the summertime and in December. Both local students and people from all over the world are out of school and they are taking advantage of that time off.
AN EXTRA GEM: A
Disney Water Parks visit is included on check-in day for Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays in 2025. That's a great value! If you're here next year, make sure you fly in earlier in the day to really take advantage of that special offer.
Also, I highly recommend looking out for deals for buying Disney Gift Cards. You can get them from your local stores and sometimes at super good prices. Then you can manage your purchased cards on the
Disney Gift Cards website. They can be used for almost anything at Walt Disney World Resort. David,
please revisit us here at planDisney if you need any more tips and tricks about planning your upcoming Disney vacation. Any one of the panelists will be more than happy to help you.
Magic always,
LeAndra
