Hi there, Donna! Thank you for bringing your essential question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Choosing the perfect
Disney Hotel is as crucial as selecting Theme Parks and attractions, so it is an honor to help a fellow fan do the same!
Your desired combination is a tricky one because the Disney Hotels in the Value and Moderate categories feature windows that face external corridors, so it's almost impossible to find a place that would provide you with a window that is not overlooking a passage, even if the view itself features a water stream.
That is the case of the gorgeous rooms found at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Their
River View rooms offer breathtaking glimpses of the Sassagoula River, but their windows face external pathways that other Guests will use to come and go.
To find windows that face the outside of buildings, you will have to stay at a Deluxe Disney Hotel. Isn't that the perfect excuse to indulge in a luxurious stay? This is also a great time to book a stay at a Disney Hotel, as the
promotions available make them even more appealing than they already are!
While the
Courtyard-facing rooms at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge will not offer direct views of the water at all times, they provide private windows and a balcony from which you will able to see the water. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is usually one of the cheapest hotels in this category, so you can start your treasure hunt there.
Disney's BoardWalk Inn is also an excellent candidate, so don't forget to check it!
I hope these tips help you find the perfect room for your stay, Donna. Don't hesitate to come back if you want more answers. We're here to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
