What is the cheapest resort option for a family of 5 that is still comfortable? Age of kids will be 13,10 and 6. Thanks!

Hi Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad to help answer your question!

Each time my family of five travels to the Walt Disney World Resort, we are always on a very strict budget.  We are always seeking out the best deal to give us the most bang for our buck. I am always looking for a place that has enough room for all of us without us feeling like we are closing in on each other.

My absolute favorite resort to stay at for my family is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. This resort is considered a “value resort” so I feel that it is the most affordable option for us. This resort hotel offers so many things it is really hard to turn it down. Each family suite is equipped with a private bedroom with one queen sized bed, one double size sleeper sofa, one double size convertible TableBed, a living room, a kitchenette, and my personal favorite TWO BATHROOMS! There really is plenty of space to spread out and relax. I also really love Landscape of Flavors which is the food area. There is a large variety of fresh food available throughout the day, it is easy to find something that will please everyone in your family. Depending on the season (prices can change without notice) typically rooms start around $126.00 per night.

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Please come visit us soon, we love helping guests just like you plan your family vacation!
