what is the cheapest way for a family of 6 to stay in a value resort

    Jeffery:

The most economical way to stay at a Value resort with 6 people is to get two connecting rooms during Value Season (this is the cheapest way for 6 people to stay at Disney, too, by the way).

A weekday room at a Value resort during Value Season can save you as much as $60 off the same room in Peak Holiday Seasons like Christmas, New Year's, Easter, and the like. There are many dates during Value Season to choose from, too: several weeks around the federal holidays in January and July, mid-August through September, and mid-November through December.

For $25 more a night, you can upgrade to a Family Suite. You'll still have two bathrooms, but you'll also get a kitchenette with a small dorm frig, microwave, sink, counter and cabinets for extra storage.  The suites have a private bedroom that sleeps two and a living area with a sleeper sofa and a chair and ottoman that convert into twin slim sleeper cots with plush mattresses.

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
