What’s the cheapest way for 4 adults to stay at Disney. My 2 kids are adults and will obviously need their own rooms. When I look into this at even places like pop century the price absolutely spirals when I look at 3 rooms.

Hello there Kris, and welcome to planDisney!

Heading to any Disney Destination with the kids now fully grown adults can really feel different, and I can definitely see where costs can begin to add up once everyone requires their very own room at the Disney Resort Hotels. The vast majority of my Walt Disney World Resort visits are adults-only trips, so here's some personal insight and recommendations that I'm happy to offer that can hopefully help you budget for your holiday:

    • Depending on how closely your family wants to stay together, some like to find savings and value in spending their visits in a Family Suite at locations like Disney's All Star Music Resort (which might not necessarily be your cup of tea if you don't want to be in the same room) or even the Family Suites that sleep up to six adults may offer some more privacy with a variety of themes across Disney's Art of Animation Resort. When I ran a few simulations in booking this compared to three entire rooms on their own, these Value Resort Hotel configurations can be a more affordable option for your family though from your question it sounds like having a room to themselves is
    • Many like-minded folks also might find it to be a better fit for their family in booking rooms at the other great accommodations nearby that are partnered with Walt Disney World Resort and even offer their own transportation to and from the theme parks - and even some of the special perks! As an example of this, I personally recommend looking into the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels for their incredible proximity to the theme parks as well as being able to purchase Lightning Lane Passes in advance. (Bear in mind that at the current time you'll need to be located in the United States or Canada to be able to purchase and make bookings for this using the My Disney Experience app, so international guests have found it better to plan for this towards the end of their stay if they're visiting for over a week.)

Be sure to keep an eye on the special deals on offer that can provide you with some serious savings that are continually updated throughout the year, and here's hoping that you'll be able to find the best option for all of you (even if it means that perhaps someone will be open to staying together for this trip).

'Ohana means family; family means no one gets left behind or forgotten!
