Hi Amanda,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you love a good deal and so do I, especially if it means I can visit the Walt Disney World® Resort! My advice is to always check the
Special Offers to see if there are any available ticket offers for the dates of your visit. Since we typically stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, we have often booked vacation packages.
Prior to booking a vacation package, I will always compare prices between purchasing theme park tickets and booking the resort hotel separately and doing a
vacation package that includes the theme park tickets and resort hotel. I also know that there are third party vendors that sell tickets. I prefer to purchase our tickets online through the Disney website. If you purchase tickets through a third party vendor and something goes wrong with those tickets, you may have to go through the vendor to resolve the issue.
I will also add that if you get 5-Day Tickets, those are typically a better value than 1-Day Tickets. So be sure to check the prices for tickets that include a few days versus the 1-Day Tickets. I do, however, suggest that you stay at a Disney resort hotel so that you can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests and, if you stay at a deluxe, deluxe villa, or other select hotel, you could get access to
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Having access to these additional hours has been incredible.
Amanda, be sure you have downloaded the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. When you purchase those theme park tickets, make sure they are linked in your account. Start thinking about the order in which you will visit the parks, and let the countdown begin!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
